Marike is a designer of furniture for amongst other labels Design on Stock and she is owner of bathroom label Not Only White. Her partner Maarten is an architect and together with their two children they inhabit a part of a school of the thirties in Amsterdam. They transformed the former classrooms into a comfortable family home. The ambiance and chosen furniture are modern and timeless and as an eye cathcher combined with some vintage items. Striking is the big green object in the Living room in which a storage room and a fireplace are included. A black steel door forms the closure between the hall and the hall living room. The lighting plan for the apartment was made by Modular Lighting.
