Jente lives in a self-designed tiny house and she even built it herself. She lives here with Pepita, her friend. Jente is originally a business consultor and lawyer and was not handy at all. After a course and a lot of good advice, Jente worked continuously for six months to build her tiny house. On 17 m2 she created a bathroom with a small bath, a compost toilet, a kitchen with two seeds, a dining table and a sofa-hanging corner. She has her ‘bedroom’ on a loft-like floor. The solar panels on the roof supply electricity, water is collected and filtered and they chop the wood for the stove themselves. They live on a former allotment complex together with a number of other tiny-house owners.
