Ingrid Pasmans is a visual artist in Amsterdam and makes drawings, watercolor work, porcelain and works for public spaces. She finds her inspiration in plant forms, botanics, antique prints, and experiencing history and nature. She alternates periods in her studio with educational work, community art assignments and artist in residencies. In the summer of 2018, she stayed at Kunstnarhuset Messen in Norway. During the artist in residence in Norway she worked for two months on the “Hardanger Herbarium”, a 30-part installation of porcelain tiles and box forms with algae, plants and waterfalls from the Norwegian environment.
