Eighteen years ago, Ingrid and her husband Johp gave their home a rural atmosphere an interior filled with personal finds and precious objects. Lately it has become a bit tighter and tougher, but there are still plenty of personal trouvailles to be found. The family had a holiday home in the Auvergne in France, where they came regularly. “We never went home without visiting a flea market or a market,” says Ingrid. “I have a serious pot addiction: I continue to like them and they can be found all over the house. The same goes for baskets, I have a whole stock of those too. I think atmosphere is very important, everything has to be right and I like peace and quiet. That’s why I have a lot of creamy white at home, which gives me a certain serenity that I love.”
