Nicole and Roman

Actually, they ended up here by accident. Nicole and Roman had been looking for a while for another house, but whenever it seemed like a match, it turned out to be just a little too much of a ‘workhouse’.  So at some point they expanded the search area on Funda and this semi-bungalow popped up. A house with quite a few 1970s details such as hardboard, scraps and an outdated kitchen. They have done the renovation in phases.  Sometimes they get inspiration from Pinterest or Instagram. ‘But mostly just do it! And that’s great fun, because we see it getting better and better. Our house really comes to life and is becoming more and more our home.”
