Maaike Pfann, alias Mrs. Weed, lives with her husband Johan in a small house with a deep garden, surrounded by water. Throughout the year, Maaike takes a dip in the natural water, after which she warms up nicely by a fire on the jetty. In her studio in the garden which is filled with dried flowers, Maaike creates the most beautiful plant prints, botanical ointments, teas and tinctures from nature. Living with nature, to the rhythm of the seasons, and with respect for the environment plays a major role in their lives.
