Baukje is very fond of antiques and old things, and loves to create wonderful stillifes in the house (1985) that she shares with her husband, in the north of the Netherlands. When being fond of decorating the interior, Christmas time of course is a favourite time of year, and this counts for Baukje as well. She dresses the table for a festive breakfast, creates a lovely alternative for the traditional X-mas tree and adds a bit of Christmas romance to the bedroom. The colour scheme? Whites, silver, the tones of natural materials and sparkling touches of red.
