Dutch Jessica and her Danish husband Peter fell in love with this beautiful old building. They started a hotel called ‘Pappersbruket’ named after what it used to be; a paper factory. Both cherish the history of this cultural heritage which goes back to 1665, when a papermill was working to make paper out of linen rags. A leading role for paper at the interior was easily decided. Each room is decorated with historical wallpaper which gives a typical Swedish atmosphere. The mix of design and antique furniture makes it an inspiring place to stay and enjoy refined and organic delicacies for lunch or dinner.
