The Swedish couple ‘The Norrmans’ renovated dozens of houses in recent years, including for the popular TV program Husdrömmar. In Klippinge, Denmark, Anna and Lars have been running a successful farm accommodation for years. On their native soil, they realised a new dream last spring: on one of the seven islands in the Swedish Häckaberga Lake, they renovated a 14th-century castle into a Boutique Hotel. Behind the romantic Renaissance facade, the couple immersed every room in their characteristic exuberant style: vintage chic. Each room is a world in itself with green plants and exuberant (dried) flower creations as a common thread. In strong basic tones such as botanical green, coral red and night blue, each interior is made up of sturdy leather and wooden furniture, interspersed with antique sofas, whether or not reupholstered with glossy velour in a floral pattern and animal print.
