The muses in ‘Villa Muze’. Mechteld and Ulla have a great love for colours, fabrics and old furniture. Preferably used intensively, so furniture with a story. They create a world around it and make fine compositions. they work intuitively, listen between the lines and then find the personal source from which they start designing a house. As a child Mechteld was always looking for beautiful and interesting objects, covered with treasures from nature and made beautiful compositions of them. She actually still does that, composing with elements, shape, colour, flowers and scent, creating a new image, atmosphere. Ulla I was nine when she bought her first antique wardrobe. The love for furniture and styling has never left and she has turned it into her profession.
