A large courtyard connects their house with five other houses belonging to a small-scale new construction project in an old city center. During summertime children come and go in this family house and Mirjam is no longer surprised if they have several kids more to feed at the dinner table. The renovation of the house was complicated. But all is well that ends well because now they fully enjoy living in a unique family home in the heart of Leiden.
