Because the renovation wouldn’t work without the help of the parents of Roos they consulted them before they purchased the house. Roos and Jordy have two small children and especially Roos’s father is a handy and really enjoys renovating so they needed their help. The house was already sustainable, but this couple has made it even more sustainable, for example with the hot air heating. The house is energy neutral and it gas consumption minimal. Jordy was not a handyman at all, but in the meantime he can handle everything. Through her work, Roos is daily overwhelmed by hysterical colours. That’s why she prefers not to much colours in their home. The furnishing had to be practical, strong and timeless in other words also sustainable.
