Karen and her husband Michiel live with their three children in a mansion of the 19th century in Antwerp. With much love they furnished and decorated the house themselves and definitely dared to use striking colour combinations. “The House reflects our personalities”, which resulted in some surprised looks during the process. The manufacturer of the pink glitter foot stool called three times to check if this really was their intention. Remarkable are the works of art, mostly from a North Nigerian tribe. Although some statues are 2000 years old, they are not behind glass. Karen and Michael believe art is allowed to be touched and teach their children to handle it with respect.
