Seventeen years ago Trude and John bought a beautiful, monumental house in The Parken, one of the loveliest districts of the Apeldoorn village, were many houses are build before 1940. A lot of villas are decorated with special eye catchers; like porches, conservatories, gallery, staircases and sometimes even small towers on the rooftop. Trude and John fell in love with their house the first moment they crossed the threshold. And they still feel fortunate to live here. The couple didn’t change much at the house when they bought it, unlike the interior that is changed every month. Trude wants her house to be different from other houses. And she goes by the rule: less is more. Using large accessories and furniture, bought during holidays in Africa or in galleries and art markets. “And I admire women’s bodies in all its facets. That part is reflected in paintings, pictures and sculptures and artworks.”
