Corrie and her husband Leen live in a large farmhouse that was built by Leen’s grandparents, right after World War II. In those days the cows and chickens lived in the barn right next door. Before they could move in with their children, they had to renovate and rebuilt the complete house, to make it suitable for their family and Leen’s parents. In the 1970’s Leen’s parent had removed almost all the original details that once adorned the house. Leen and Corrie replaced all the authentic details like en-suite-rooms, panel doors and small windows with shutters. This couple also loves a rural interior with unique furniture and decorations, with a predilection for items with a history and for flowers and green.
