Even from the outside you can see that Carla is a real brocante lover. Old shutters in front of the windows and a beautiful mannequin in the window sill make this even more clear. Together with husband Richard, Carla lives in a small village close to Rotterdam. The detached house with a large garden is within walking distance of the center. Through a small hall you enter the house and at the end of the long hallway is a large kitchen on the right, left you go to the cozy living room. Here are several cupboards, nicely decorated with antique and brocante. Especially the collection “China Head dolls” are an eye catcher. All in beautiful pink powder colors. Like the collection of fabric boxes. The soft colors and slender fabrics appeal to Carla very much. What she finds most important is that it should primarily be a “home”.
