Steven and Monique actually live in The Hague, but since they found and refurbished the old house of the mayor, they have come to feel completely at home here. The house is old and a little crooked and with its rugged grape stems, that appear so beautiful in autumn, it has a fairytale atmosphere. Steven and Monique mostly live outside and when temperatures are rising the house has big cool rooms with original elements like huge fireplaces. The living room is sober but atmospheric and decorated with style. Another favourite place is the lovely study room full of books. A lot is read especially at the loggia with a view on the beautiful terrace.
