Nina and André were looking for a house with possibilities, something where they could start a B&B or a mini campsite or something. Six kilometers from the German border in ‘The Achterhoek’, Nina and André found their dream house, a 200-year-old farm. It could also have been an old factory or a former school. As long as it was spacious, offered opportunities and had a good atmosphere. The house immediately felt good, even though it was very dark. You could just tell that the residents had been happy. That atmosphere was decisive for them. You can renovate a house, but you can’t change an atmosphere just like that, They also liked that Ulft with all its shops and facilities and the Dru factory, a cultural hotspot, are within cycling distance. Now Nina could finally get that cast floor that she has wished so fervently for 15 years! “
