For years Corien and her husband happily lived in an old town villa on the outskirts of The Hague. But when a apartment in a beautiful house came up for sale in the same street, they didn’t hesitate for a moment. They stayed in their beloved environment, but now they could live on the ground floor, with even a piece of garden. The apartment has been completely renovated and everything has been replaced and renewed. The wooden floor has been sanded and painted white, just like the walls. Corien likes quiet, light spaces. Both are also art lovers, which can be found throughout the apartment. The interior is a mix of sleek and rural. The modern sofa in the front room, for example, is a nice counterpart to the antique wooden dining table. In this way Corien has created a very own atmosphere.
