In 2019, Interior stylist Suzanne moved into to this house with her wife Fleur and two children Bo and Benja. The house is located in a natural oasis of tranquility in the middle of Amsterdam. They heard through someone that this house was for rent, so they sold their house in Haarlem and moved into this rental house. The square has a French feel with a nice wide view. The children can play in front of the door and this neighborhood is packed with delicatessen shops. When they came to live here, they decided to renovate the kitchen and had a leveling floor laid. The high ceilings and all the old elements make this a wonderful place to live. They have also installed a bio ethanol burner in the old fireplace. Suzanne really likes to mix styles. So a modern TV in this more classic building. She combines the design classic Togo with a mid-century table. And also an old cupboard from grandma. By keeping the colors calm and neutral, the unity remains. The base is warm and natural with a color accent here and there to make it a bit more refreshing.
