Melanie lives in a detached house built in 1876 located in ‘The Beemster’ a beautifual area in the Netherlands. Natures inspires her which you see reflected in her interior for instance the grayish tones that can be found in nature. The colours she used are mainly white combined with sand and gray. Her favourite quote is : “If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.” There’s a big garden around the house as well as a veranda that you enter from the kitchen. During the summer, when the doors are open, inside and outside become one. When it is autumn Melanie and her family can be found outside as well sitting and getting warm around a small fireplace.
