Although they were put off by the seventies details they saw on the Internet, Maartje and Michiel decided to pay a visit to the old post office that was for sale in a village not far away from the city they lived in. “Inside we decided within twenty minutes that we would go for it.” The fact they should invest in a major renovation didn’t scare them off. “We felt that this village and this building could be a perfect match with our family. Together with a contractor we designed a completely new layout for the old post office. When a stylist finished the interior details this became our home.”
