Jantien and her family live in a 1930s house with a large garden on the island of Goeree Overflakkee in the south west of the Netherlands. The house is styled with warm colours in an autumn / winter atmosphere. The interior contains a lot of home-made ceramics from their neighbour ‘Sien Pottery’. The house has a large green garden with mature trees. The style of the furnishing is a mix between rural / natural with a lot of flea markets. The room with the sturdy desk and the stuffed animals is a very special space in old English style and is the domain of the man of the house.
