The farm that we’re visiting is located in one of the most beautiful places in Denmark and features marvelous views and fantastic natural surroundings. This is where “Cafe Dejligheden” is located and the name speaks for itself because it really is lovely here. Helle and her daughter Sara run this place and it’s safe to say that they’ve got all kinds of things going on. Helle renovated one of the old farm wings herself and created a farm coffeehouse, a store and an orangery. She built the orangery out of nothing but recycled materials. Helle has a big passion for vintage and brocante and she runs the store “Creme d’la Creme Brocante” here, selling vintage treasures and other wonderful items in the same style as the interior design in her orangery: wonderful pieces of furniture made of iron and wood with original patina, old baskets, jugs and dishes. And in the middle of it all, she’s got several big olive trees thriving so well in the light and warm rooms.
