Once it was home to the hard working servants of the adjoining winemakers house, who used to make du lait – milk – in the current kitchen. Now it’s a comfortable guesthouse splendidly decorated by its owner Anne Claudel: gîte La Laiterie, in French Burgundy. Here you can relax in a welcoming atmosphere of feminine romance (toile de Jouy, handmade lace, old textiles), combined by Anne with sturdy materials like weathered wood. Her decorating skills can be seen throughout the house, giving it it’s unique character: note the amazing bathroom!
