As a little girl, Vera spent most of the school holidays in this area, where her parents had a holiday home. When Stef and she were able to buy this beautiful lot five years ago, they didn’t have to think about it very long. They decided to build a detached house. They have renovated and built houses before, but this time might be the last time because this is really their dream house.They have used beautiful, artisanal materials and behind the front door, Vera’s passion for rural living is already visible. The country, sober living style has always been her favourite and she has a great love for old objects, preferably made of old wood. Something doesn’t have to be perfect or completely finished. The very fact that you can see that an item has been there for a while is important to her. Vera likes to share her passion for rural living with others. Therefor a large part of her house is also a showroom for her interior design store Tika & Pinakel.
