Elina lives in an old fisherman’s house (53 m2) in the beautiful historical village of Veere, on the former island Walcheren in the Dutch province Zeeland. It took Elina a year to renovate the house from 1635. During this process she came across hidden treasures such as a beautiful old door that she found and is now standing in her house by the stairs for decoration. To preserve the atmosphere in the house she has worked a lot with old building materials and wood. The carpenter has had the patience of angels to make everything right because everything in the houses is scottish and crooked. The name of the house “Pinksterblomme” was given by an artist who used to live in the house.
