The property stood empty for years and smelled very old and moldy and the interior was very, very seventies. There had been many viewers, but they all left in a hurry after they saw what an immense job it would be to make this a comfortable home. Erna and Robbert visited the old farm thirteen years ago it had an amazing atmosphere and they fell in love with it immediately. After years of breaking down walls and built new ones, they finally finished their immense job. All these years they had one purpose: restore the farm in its original state and bring back as much authentic details as possible. In order to achieve that they were always looking for special old building materials, flea market furniture and brocante accessories.
