Teacher Cathelijne lives with Maarten (ice cream maker) and their two daughters in a former farm from 1922 which can be found in the village center of Wierden. The old farmhouse now serves as a semi-detached house. This young couple moved five years ago into this totally dilapidated house. They had a small budget but it worked! It was definitely worth it because they really have made their own place of it. Fortunately, they are both very handy and lacking knowledge can be found on You Tube. Cathelijne is an impulsive decision-maker which enhances their eclectic taste even more. Maarten is often surprised when he returns home and sees a quick job that is already finished or a new purchase is made at the neighbours thrift store).
