Suzanne and Ray live with their two sons and a third on the way in this beautiful bright house in Katwijk aan Zee, a 3-minute walk from the beach. It is a 1930s house that was not well maintained, they worked together for a year in collaboration with a contractor to refurbish the house. Their vision for the house was to create a welcoming and open atmosphere. Their children always bring friends with them, there are people blowing in, just as they envisioned. Suzanne is a stylist and she was inspired by both Marrakesh and the beach for the design of their home. She has bought a lot in Marrakesh such as lamps, bedspread, pillows, carpet, leather balls for kids and baskets. The house breathes a calmness because of the earthy colours and little frills.
