Carla and Henk sold their house in Zoutelande, Zeeland and were looking for a new home. They temporarily moved to an apartment (120 m2) in Domburg. In the end, they stayed there and renovated the apartment. The interior is rural with beautiful details and stylish items, mostly from Carla’s own shop in Middelburg. The portraits of ‘Hollandse Sier’ date from the period 1900. The portraits have a beautiful, dreamy atmosphere. The unique signature of Hollandse Sier is in the addition of the gold accents. With precision and creativity, the portraits are manually edited by Carla and her daughter Victorien with gold leaf. The gold brings the portraits to life, in every light and interior and gives a beautiful effect. They also have a summer cottage where they love to stay with their children.
