Marije lives with her partner and 3 children in an old house from 1923 in a village in the South of Holland. She provides creative workshops and sells second-hand dishes and interior accessories. Their decor is colourful, they can’t do without colour, it would make them really unhappy. They kept the base calm, white woodwork, and white tiles (replicas of old ‘Dutch whites’). They also like a mixed interior; old and new, tough and sweet, pastel but also black. Marije loves old porcelain: cake bowls, vases, bowls, bowls, plates, cups and saucers. She likes to collect the most beautiful treasures for their crockery cupboard, preferably with birds or with beautiful colored flower patterns. Marije has a great love for old embroidery. She reuses this and turns it into modern interior decoration.
