When Arnold had to drive more than three hours to work four days a week, Annette and he decided it was time to move. Arnold did the preliminary work, found a farm, Annette drove over to take a look and it was love at first side. The inside was dated, with original bedsteads in a small living room. The kitchen was in the corner, which is now their dining area. But the exterior, including the barns, were beautifully renovated, with many authentic building materials. And that’s what they fell in love with twenty years ago. The interior hasn’t changed that much in all the years they’ve lived here. The rural style is Annette’s favourite and matches perfectly with the beautiful old trusses, the atmosphere of the farm and its surroundings.
