“No, we don’t want to look houses again!” That’s what Coriens children would scream from the backseat of the car. Twenty years ago it became a ritual, driving around in the weekends looking for a perfect house that was for sale and affordable. Corien and Peter weren’t lucky then, but they were ten years later. An old, dated and poor maintained house came up for sale, in a coveted area in The Hague. The whole building had to be renovated, but this was the home of their desires! After three months of renovating the family moved in. The monumental house was brought back to life, its interior became serene, sober, bright and warm and very tastefully. With new furniture, antique pieces, accessories Corien and Peter bought in far away countries and lots of art.
