In the historic center of Thorn, an idyllic town on the border of Belgium, is the monumental home of Marleen and Jean Paul. At the end of the street you see a beautiful church and every hour some tourists walk past the window. Typical elements of a monument are the fireplace, high walls with ornaments on the ceiling and ensuite doors with stained glass windows. But at the same time, through their use of colour and styling, Jean Paul and Marleen have really managed to turn it into something enormously atypical and quirky. Blue and grey tones combined with bright accents and modern accessories are used consistent throughout the home. Upstairs, the bedrooms are also styled to perfection!
