Pieter and Michelle Jager have their own interior design studio ‘Even Eleven’ in Naarden Vesting. Their home is a great example of their love of collecting unique objects, vintage design and art. Many African influences can be seen from their trips to Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and South Africa. They like to combine modern furniture with vintage items such as a Doria Leuchten wall lamp and Börje Johanson bar stools that they had upholstered themselves. In addition, they have collected various art over the years. They bought their first work at the first edition of Unseen; a photo by the South African artist Mohau Modisakeng. Later works by Klaus Staudt, Ewerdt Hilgemann and the well-known Dutch sculptor Carel Visser, among others.
