When their two sons left home, Conny and Mark were eager for a new living environment. They chose Rotterdam and initially went looking for existing apartments or projects that were almost finished. It just wasn’t all that. Then they saw this building: completely perfect because there was nothing there yet. It is an old warehouse from 1856 which was uninhabited for a long time, except for hundreds of pigeons. The previous owners had already started demolishing it, Conny and Mark have further adapted it to their liking. From a dilapidated warehouse to cosmopolitan apartment: that is the result of a year and a half of rigorous renovation.
