This is the first and also the last house of Gerrie and Marcel. Because no matter how changeable life may be, there is one thing they know for sure: they will never leave the house they built twenty-seven years ago. In 1993 this couple bought more than five hundred square meters of land and designed their house themselves. Over the years their interior changed from oak, with a bleu leather sofa and yellow paneling walls to a more Laura Ashley look. Slowly Gerrie changed her style into brocante with colour. They only buy items at Belgium markets and in secondhand shops.
