A few years ago, Sheila moved from the south of the Netherlands to live with Ben in this lovely house from 1879 in Amsterdam. An old house has the great advantage that it is authentic and that many old details are still present. The house is located in a dead end street that ends in a beautiful parc ‘Het Vondelpark’. This makes it very quiet for Amsterdam standards. The 96m2 apartment consists of 2 floors and a roof terrace. The style of the interior is a combination of boho and a little industrial, Scandinavian and retro influences. Her favorite places in the house are the widened windowsill in the living room and the kitchen table. This is the heart of the house. They like to sit here every day, but also when they have visitors they hang out here. The roof terrace has recently been added, but the sun must shine of course to fully enjoy this spot.
