Dutch Afke is an artist and a passionate gardener. When she bought an old house in a small Frisian village, about thirty years ago, there was not much of a garden, only a piece of overgrown land with a couple of neglected fruit trees. With all of her love (and trial and error) she transformed it into a romantic paradise full of blooming flowers, scented roses and small seats to enjoy the serene silence of nature.
