The house of Cees en Thea dates from 1763, and is the second oldest house in the village of Druten. It has been their home for 37 years now. After the necessary restorations and renovations, it is still a wonderful place to live. Several times a year the couple travels to France in search of furniture at flea markets that they can sell in their shop at home. They mainly look for furniture with the real old patina. Thea is a real garden lover, she therefore spends hours in the garden. Her interest in flowers and plants started in her youth. The first fig she planted unfortunately died, but the beautiful specimen that now stands in the backyard against the facade of the house is already 25 years old.
