Melinda (49 years old) has a piece of land on an allotment complex for about 8 years. It is located in the Zaanstreek in the province of North Holland. The garden shed is painted in the typical green colour which is used in this region. The allotment complex is located in the middle of the meadows and is surrounded by water. Melinda grows vegetables such as onions, garlic, beets, potatoes and pumpkins all year round. She is creative and makes vegetable soap and arrangement with dried flowers. Not only does she eats the vegetables and fruit that come from her garden, from the rose hips she makes lemonade.
