Idyllic garden and shop

This wonderful, old garden – located by the old mill in the town of Harlev in Jutland, Denmark – is nothing but pure idyll. This is a dream that’s finally come true for Margit and her husband Lau who bought this old watermill in 2017. Now they live in the most idyllic kind of nature that you can possibly imagine. Margit has been working as a purchaser for a gardening company for many years and her interest in outdoor living – combined with her practical knowledge – makes up the perfect foundation for running the farm store where she mainly sells the most beautiful pots, which she imports herself, and plants in spring and summer. Although the garden is very big and almost park-like, it offers lots of beautiful, smaller spaces. This includes several terraces, of which some of them are roofed, and small sitting areas by the lake and in between all the beds that the couple has created.
