‘De BijenAkker’ (Beefield) is a beautiful organic garden where several green initiatives can grow and bloom. In the heart of the garden owner Henk set up a ‘the Smaakmuseum’ (Taste Museum) together with Creative Chef Jasper. It is literally a testing field in which not only ‘forgotten species’ grow, but also many herbs, leafy vegetables, tubers and edible flowers. Each plant has either a beautiful story, a long culinary tradition or a very special taste. Here you can enjoy a colorful vegetable garden lunch between the flowers, birds and bees after an interesting taste expedition in summertime.
