Marijke lives at the farm ‘Hoeve Kortstaert’ where she keeps animals, maintains a garden and loves to cook. She is influenced by the life of the Irish country side because she has spent a big part of her childhood in Ireland. She loves to cook recipes based on traditional country kitchens. The flavours are pure and she prefers using seasonal products because they are at their best at that moment. She shares 8 of her recipes all made with pear. For instance: chutney made with pear, onion and sage or a quick salad with pear and livers.
