Sprouts and cress are freshly germinated plants that can be eaten at an early stage .You can buy them but they are also easy to grow yourself. They are like any other vegetable good for health and also very decorative. It is delicious on a sandwich, in soups and salads or a hummus or pesto. The easiest way to grow your own cress is in a jar. Put the cress seeds (not too many, they’ll grow a lot!) in a big jar and soak overnight. In a few days you’ll have a jar full of cress!
