For Jopie and Joost, Christmas is the time that is traditionally celebrated with the family. The weeks before Christmas Jopie decorates their cosy house. Three years ago Joost and Jopie bought this semi-detached house. The oldest part of the house – the part where the kitchen is now located – was built as a farm in 1895. Next to the house were the stables for the cattle. Those stables were converted into homes years ago. They have done a lot of work on the house and expanded it. The house has more than fifteen hundred square meters of land around it. Enough space to expand the house with a large living room and then there was still enough garden left.
