Simplicity and original Christmas decorations, that is what Ira prefers. A small, modest tree decorated with antique accessories. Most of the antique Christmas baubles are still from her mother and a precious possession. Sober packed presents in neutral paper, decorated with a ribbon and a sprig of green and in another tree you will see old maps and photos instead of the standard decorations. Christmas is more of a feast of being together and enjoying each other and what you have than eating food and giving expensive present. The dinner is made with much love, the table covered with great dedication. Glitter and glamour is not spent on Ira, Christmas stories of the past and stuff with a past the more, it is mainly about the memories, to pick them up and to make them again.
