Dutch botanical artist Roos is specialized in the art of nature printing, a technique that was already developed in the Middle Ages and by the 17th and 18th century had become a serious help in building up systemised collections made by and for botanists. Roos works with fresh flowers and greenery picked in the neighbourhood of her atelier. The process has different phases, each of them with an amazing and breathtakingly beautiful result; notice parts of the flowers still present in the (not final) print! Extra special about her work is the scale: most prints are as large as the artist herself.
