It’s a paradise in summertime, but it’s during the seasons of crispy cold days that the house of Anne and Jacques reveals it’s uttermost warmth and cosiness. Built centuries ago in a small village in French Burgundy, it was given a new life by this Belgian couple that fell in love with its natural beauty that, in their opinion, did not need any make up. That’s why only white and faded colours entered the house, pure materials like linen, cotton and wood, and rather sturdy yet comfortable furniture that perfectly fit the authentic look of the house. Art, books, candles and a collection of crockery add personality and atmosphere to the elegant decoration, as do the freshly picked harvest of apples and figs.
